Miss Pilkington's Cottage by Plum Street Samplers

"This little design was inspired by an antique I own that was stitched by 11-year-old Ellen Pilkington in 1852.  One of the things I loved about the sampler was all the vases Ellen chose to stitch.  I've included some of them here, along with the fascinating birds, rabbit, and a couple of her flowers."
